Feeling Vintage and Owning It
Lucille reminds me that older can be better. Fall is my favorite season of the year. It’s my birthday and my son’s too, and it’s cold enough to wear all my favorite clothes. But, most of all, it’s a time to get together with friends and family. I’m feeling lucky to be able to spend Thanksgiving with my son Ethan and old family friends, and I hope you all take the time to cherish the relationships that warm your heart.
Lucille is just one of my most relished treasures. I have been collecting all manners of things my whole life, and I am lucky enough to have made a business out of something that makes me so happy.
Collecting is also the basis and foundation of one my favorite as well as most personal collections of all my jewelry, my Signature Line. It is the most recognizable of all my collections because it incorporates vintage and antique found objects including English medals, antique credit tokens, Victorian pocket watch chains and, one of my special finds, post Civil War love tokens. These and more are all objects I discover to create this distinctive jewelry line. When I or a client wears one of these pieces, it creates a special and strong connection from the past to the present, just like the feeling I get with my Lucille—to relish the past for the present.
Enjoy your holidays and those you love.
